The City of Wilmington closed on a 6.63 acre piece of property just north of the Northern Riverfront Marina & Hotel Development.  The land will be developed into a “passive” public park, according to a plan officials spent months hammering out. The emphasis will be green, open space adequate for crowded events and individual enjoyment alike.
